Robert Half Assistant Bookkeeper in Albany, New York
Description Robert Half has partnered with a local not-for-profit to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto their rapidly-growing team. Offered as a a long-term contract / contract to permanent opportunity, this Bookkeeper position will be based in the Albany, New York area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Manage and review general ledger
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Monitor accounts by balancing entries

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Payroll experience preferred
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Expense Vouchers
Adeptness in Enter Invoices
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Comprehensive knowledge of Basic Bookkeeping
