Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Grant Accountant in Albany, Oregon. This role is primarily focused on the accurate and efficient processing of grant-related accounting functions within the industry. The position requires on-site presence and involves working with a variety of accounting systems, including Netsuite.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee grant-related accounting functions
• Process and analyze budget processes related to grants
• Ensure accurate project accounting and month-end close procedures
• Regularly analyze and report on cash activity
• Prepare and submit federal grant reports to the federal government
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
• Operate Netsuite for accounting purposes and record maintenance. Requirements • Proficiency in various accounting functions
• Strong understanding and experience with budget processes
• Ability to handle and manage cash activity effectively
• Prior experience with Federal Grant is required
• Familiarity with Federal Government Reporting is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Experience with NetSuite software is preferred
