Description

Reimbursement Manager

The primary responsibility of the Reimbursement Manager will be leading the finance department in Claims Reimbursement and Management services.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise agency accounts receivable to ensure accurate procedures and reporting

  2. Ensures revenue is booked according to appropriate contract allowable

  3. Collaborates with internal departments, management and payers to assure resolution of reimbursement issues in a timely manner

  4. Subject Matter Expert for the Electronic Health Record billing system

  5. Provides support and participates with leadership in the implementation of systems, processes, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, and maintaining an awareness of Government and Commercial Health Plans

  6. Train and supervise accounting staff to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments

  7. Actively monitor the Accounts Receivables (AR) aging and past due accounts

  8. Ensure monthly closing goals are met

  9. Ensure weekly billing is monitored and billed timely

  10. Provide effective, timely and courteous customer service support to internal and external customers

  11. Manage agency cash receipts and develop procedures for proper handling

  12. Supervise billing department to ensure accurate and efficient billing.

  13. Maintain trainings as required and requested

  14. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.

  15. Performing special projects as assigned.
