Robert Half International Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico

Credit and Collections Manager with growing company in Albuquerque!

You'll be part of the AR Team and reporting to the Director who is a great leader.

You'll be responsible for overall management and day to day operations of credit and collections for this company:

  • Provides management oversight and leadership of the collection efforts of a team of analysts to maximize revenue collections.

  • Hire, train, and develop the members of the team.

  • Establish individual and team performance goals.

  • Monitor and review collector’s efforts through reports and spreadsheets to ensure that individual and department goals are met.

  • Report on delinquent accounts to Director. Collaborate with Director on the collection or disposition of delinquent accounts, including cancellation or litigation. Manage the distribution of demand letters, promissory notes and payment plans when required as well as the tracking of customer compliance.

  • Analyzes new customer credit applications and makes recommendations to the Director regarding customer credit worthiness. Manages the company’s Dun and Bradstreet Credit Reporting requests.

  • Prepares and provides a variety of Accounts Receivable reports for the collections team and Director. Provide other financial reports as needed.

  • Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement strategies to increase productivity.

  • Timely completion of all month end close activities.

  • Provides support and responses to internal and external auditors when requested.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have:

  • History of success with commercial Credit and Collections Management

  • Possess track record of coaching and empowering employees' for success

  • Must be a self-starter and a problem solver with strong communication skills

  • Must have basic-intermediate level Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet Skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
