Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the sales team. Your key responsibilities will involve processing purchase orders, customer communication, and coordination of deliveries, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers through phone and email, aiming to enhance knowledge of our entire product offering.

• Support the sales team by providing timely quotations and accurate order processing.

• Answer incoming sales calls and provide general information to customers.

• Update customer contracts and coordinate deliveries with the warehouse.

• Handle invoicing logistics and ensure the delivery of personalized customer service.

• Process purchase orders and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with precision.

• Answer phones and maintain familiarity with various carriers such as LTL, Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

• Manage tasks using Microsoft Outlook and perform some Excel work.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working in a cubicle environment.

• Perform additional tasks such as cash collecting or payroll processing if required, though these are not mandatory skills. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication is required.

• Experience in Sales and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Ability to Answer Inbound Calls and manage Invoice and Cash Activity tasks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Workstation Support is necessary.

• Strong Phone Presence is a must.

• Knowledge of Logistics and Payroll Functions is required.

• Ability to Answer queries and manage Purchase Orders.

• Excellent Time Management skills are needed.

• Willingness to Assist Customers and handle Deliveries.

• Basic to intermediate Computer Skills are necessary.

• Experience in preparing Quotations is a plus.

• A Plus certification would be beneficial.

• Ability to handle Sales Calls and manage Customer Contracts.

• Knowledge of basic Accounting Functions is required.

• Strong Organizational skills are needed.
