Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description We are seeking a proficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer-related transactions, maintaining secure customer records, and providing professional assistance to borrowers and other departments within the organization. This job offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and balance payment transactions from various sources

• Maintain secure records of borrower personal identification, cash, checks, money orders, and credit card information

• Sort and process incoming mail as per established procedures and deadlines

• Prepare and balance daily bank and electronic deposits

• Provide prompt and professional assistance to co-workers regarding payment research and other inquiries

• Perform basic accounting functions such as reconciliation of payments and preparation of journal entries

• Process and balance electronic payment files received daily from a variety of sources

• Accurately resolve issues that caused payments not to post to the system within the same business day of receipt

• Use mathematical calculations along with system knowledge to realign due dates for consolidated loans

• Balance daily activity of the payment area and accurately resolve any out of balance exceptions

• Properly balance, document, and compile paperwork for storage that supports all activity transacted during the day Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good with numbers

• Reconcile bank statements and records

• Experience in Data Entry

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to handle Email Correspondence effectively

• Experience with Organizing Files

• Ability to Perform Calculations accurately

• Proficiency in Scanning documents

• Strong Typing skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.
