Robert Half International Helpdesk Technician in ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico


This is a temporary to hire Helpdesk Technician in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This position will be predominately remote but will require some onsite travel to Sanfe Fe based clients- Tech must reside in Santa Fe, NM area.

The Helpdesk Technician's primary responsibility is to provide day to day coverage for Help Desk clients. Help Desk technician's are required to monitor the customer IT environments in compliance with the standard operating procedures.

The Help Desk Technician's monitor systems and answer incoming calls, process alerts and tickets.

May be required to go onsite to client locations to troubleshoot issues that cannot be resolved remotely.

The successful Helpdesk Technician will have excellent communications skills, along with the ability to multitask in order to facilitate the resolution of multiple incidents at any given time. The successful candidate will be able to work from home and be able to travel to local clients for any onsite work that cannot be resolved remotely within the Santa Fe area.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Candidate must live and reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico area.

Associates degree in related technical field preferred or equivalent experience

3+ years experience in IT support role

Experience working with ticketing software

Experience working with IT asset monitoring software

Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting IT systems and networking systems (3 years minimum)

Certifications Highly Desirable


Proven customer service experience

Proficient in technical knowledge

Detail oriented

Professional demeanor

Excellent communications skills

Team player

Good time management

Other requirements:

Some travel necessary

Some lifting necessary at times

Infrequent off hours/weekends
