Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Complete other projects as required
Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing Requirements - Current and relevant ERP system experience
Cost accounting experience desired
Command of Inventory Reconciliation
Strong familiarity with bank reconciliations
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
You'll be successful in this position if you have financial reporting systems proficiency
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Ability to meet deadlines
Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
