Description
Robert Half is seeking a System Engineer experienced with Virtualization, Storage and knowledge of Security.
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Hybrid work schedule available.
The System Engineer will act as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert within the system engineering team. Leverages deep technical knowledge to lead the design of system monitoring and interoperability including incorporating new systems into the existing environments. Ensures technical excellence and success in the design, administration, implementation, support, and maintenance of all enterprise-wide server-based systems, both physical and virtual. Assists in setting policy and procedures for systems management and security based on recognized business risk. Provides technical guidance and third level support and training for help desk issues pertaining to system and network changes, system projects, security, and other related technology questions.

The successful System Engineer will have proven track record and experience with Virtualization (Hyper V / VmWare), Storage (NetAPP) and knowledge of IT Security.
Experience with Dell EMC, Dell Blade experience, Active Directory, DNS, and cloud experience ideal
Knowledge of applications, understanding of SDLC, Change Management, NIST desired.
Excellent communication, effective individual contributor and collaborative team member. Self-directed
Must be able to pass background prior to employment
