Description
We are looking to bring on a Technical Writer III, in a remote position, in the SaaS industry. This role provides a long-term contract employment opportunity. The role primarily involves documentation and updating of technical security control responses and implementing governance processes for SaaS Cloud Security.
Responsibilities:
• Documenting and updating current state controls in alignment with industry standards, such as NIST, CIS, SOC, and GDPR.
• Processing customer applications and maintaining accurate customer records.
• Resolving customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts.
• Collaborating with various functions across SaaS, OCI, marketing, engineering, and field enablement to document security control responses.
• Conducting interviews with IT teams and documenting responses in clear, understandable language.
• Ensuring the accuracy and up-to-dateness of data in our knowledge database.
• Utilizing various tools such as Responsive Qvidian, Markdown, GitBook, Confluence, JIRA, and Notion.
• Implementing and refining governance processes to maintain order and management.
• Contributing to special projects as required.
• Delivering work within set deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements • Proficiency in Technical Writing and Technical Documentation
• Experience with Documentation and Approval Process
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance
• Knowledge of Oracle, JIRA, Confluence, and Mark Down
• Experience with Security and Audit procedures
• Understanding of Governance and Implementation strategies
• Experience in Engineering and Special Projects
• Strong Communication Skills
• Familiarity with SaaS and Assertion Markup Language
• Experience with Customer Service and Marketing
• Knowledge of Framework and Respository tools
