Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager in Alexandria, Virginia. The role involves a high volume of hands-on processing and collections management, direct interaction with customers, and supervision of specialists.
Responsibilities
• Managing a high volume of accounts receivable services
• Engaging in direct customer interaction for billing and collections
• Overseeing the work of specialists in the team
• Ensuring the smooth flow of receivables for critical services
• Managing collections to enable timely payroll to consultants
• Utilizing skills in Billing Collection, Collections, Customer Account, and Accounts Receivable (AR) to perform duties effectively
• Minimal involvement in accounting tasks
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager for at least 5 years
• Proficiency in billing and collection procedures
• Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in customer account management
• Strong working knowledge of collections processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and accounting software
