Description We are in the market for a Tax Preparer to join our team based in Alexandria, Virginia. Operating within the CPA firm industry, the Tax Preparer will be tasked with handling a variety of responsibilities related to tax preparation and customer service. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer data entries and maintain their records

• Handle customer tax preparation tasks using various accounting software systems

• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for tax preparation tasks

• Use ADP - Financial Services for managing and monitoring customer accounts

• Resolve customer inquiries related to tax preparation and accounting functions

• Ensure allowances and deductible are accurately accounted for in tax preparations

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their queries and concerns effectively

• Use Drake Tax Software for specific customer tax preparation tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience using CCH ProSystem Fx is necessary

• Proficiency in CCH Sales Tax is a prerequisite

• Hands-on experience with Drake Tax Software is essential

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions with accuracy and efficiency

• Understanding of Allowances in the context of tax preparation

• Strong Customer Service skills to handle client queries and concerns

• Proficient in Data Entry to ensure accurate record keeping

• Knowledge of Deductible items in tax preparation to maximize client benefits
