Description

As the Accounts Payable Specialist your duties will include but aren't limited too;
• Carry out a full-cycle Accounts Payable
• Handle administrative and payroll tasks for the Accounts Payable AP/Finance Department
• Analyze, verify, and reconcile accounts payable records efficiently.
• Participate in the planning and organization of accounts payable operational activities.
• Maintain the security and integrity of automated data.
• Coordinate with various departments and maintain records for account payables.
• Review final documents in vendor close-out packages for accuracy and payment to vendor.
• Participate in the analysis of accounts payable activities and provide technical advice as needed.
• Ensure all guidelines have been followed in the payment of invoices to vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
• Previous experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles
• Experience in Auditing procedures
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Concur software
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Ability to perform Account Coding accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
