Description
Robert Half Talent Solutions is seeking a Financial Controller in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role is instrumental in the financial operations within the manufacturing realm, where the successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing accounting functions, managing financial software systems, and building relationships with key stakeholders in operations.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Utilize knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting to provide guidance and insight on financial fluctuations and costing
• Leverage SAP or similar ERP systems to streamline financial operations
• Foster business relationships with key stakeholders such as the Plant Director and Operations Manager
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize productivity within the organization
• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to improve business processes and reduce costs
• Ensure all financial reports and audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Utilize financial software systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports to manage and analyze financial data
• Oversee and manage budget processes to ensure financial stability and growth within the organization.
Requirements
• The candidate must hold at least 7 years of experience in a similar role or field.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Accounting Software Systems are necessary.
• The candidate should possess skills in ADP - Financial Services.
• Proficiency in CRM is a must.
• The applicant should have a comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proven experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
• The candidate must have experience in Auditing.
• Knowledge and understanding of Budget Processes are required.
• Proficiency in SAP is a must.
• The applicant should have experience in Cost Accounting.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting is necessary.
• The candidate must have experience in Standard Cost Accounting.
