OfficeTeam is currently seeking skilled candidates to fill Multiple openings for a rewarding role as a POS Technical Services Representative with a highly innovative company we’re working with onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In these POS Technical Services Representative roles, you will be responsible with communicating with clients regarding support for company products and services. Play a vital role with this POS Technical Services Representative position will allow you to communicate with customers via phone, email and chat communications and be able to provide a strong knowledge of the different services that are provided to assist clients with any technical-related inquiries. This POS Technical Services Representative will be working closely with clients to identify and troubleshoot issues with the POS systems on-site. Become an integral part of the team with this POS Technical Services Representative as you will be assisting with troubleshooting and supporting clients in real-time communication. Because this POS Technical Services Representative will be supporting clients with these inquiries, you are expected to acquire an in-depth understanding of all services and products this company provides while displaying excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. This POS Technical Services Representative must also be able to handle high call volume and be able to think and adapt quickly to different customer situations. In addition, this POS Technical Services Representative must be able to handle calls customers calling in irate or maybe escalated issues. This POS Technical Services Representative position will be onsite at the company’s office located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This POS Technical Services Representative should also be comfortable working either early evenings or weekend days in addition to daytime hours as a first shift schedule might not be immediately available.


Research and resolve credit card terminal issues and questions from our merchants and our Independent Sales Representatives.

Listening attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer

Improve terminal performance by identifying problems; recommending changes

Diagnose customer issues through process of elimination by asking probing questions

Provide resolution by identifying problems; researching answers & guiding merchants through corrective steps

Receive & resolve inbound calls, emails, chats, tasks, & Tickets

This position requires employees to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the public; work as part of a team and

collaborate with colleagues; and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.

As a Support Technician, you will occasionally be called upon to perform other duties not included in this job description.

2+ years’ experience in Customer Service or Technical-related Support roles

Prior experience working in a Call Center or with Credit Card Processing / POS Systems highly preferred, including Food and Retail industries!

Candidate must be able to adapt quickly to changing customer service inquiries and be quick thinking

Adapt to high call volume situations

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be a reliable and dependable employee!

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred in Business-related studies
