Robert Half Secretary in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania
Robert Half is currently seeking skilled candidates to fill a rewarding role as a Front Desk Receptionist for a local school organization working onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Become an integral part of the team with this Front Desk Receptionist as you will providing secretarial support for the school and assisting with internal support in generating reports, communicating with parents, answering phones, and other clerical responsibilities. In this Front Desk Receptionist will also need to be task-oriented and able to work independently and efficiently. The Front Desk Receptionist will be working Monday-Friday, 7:15am to 3:15pm. You will also be required to float between different buildings where coverage in offices may be needed. Play a vital role in this Front Desk Receptionist as you will be working with an organization that helps make a difference in the community!
Answering and screening all incoming phone calls; transferring as needed
Assist supervisor with generating reports on classroom data and prepare various office correspondence
Communicating daily with internal staff and parents
Greet and sign in visitors upon arrival to the office
Assist with Calendar management; make travel arrangements as needed
Ensure main areas are tidy and presentable, make sure all office supplies and materials are stocked
Update calendar and scheduling meetings as needed
Filing paperwork; sorting and distributing mail
Assist with any additional clerical tasks as needed

1+ years’ experience in Front Office or Administrative roles
Candidates must be able to handle a high volume of calls; some cases up to 6 calls at one time if needed
Understanding that a high-level of professionalism with customer service is a must; candidates must provide support to each customer with a smile, even in escalated situations
Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Must have the proficiency to multitask well and use time-management skills wisely; ability to prioritize tasks
Must be flexible regarding constant changing needs and have an outgoing personality
Understanding that great attendance and strong performance will be important in completing the duties of this position!
