Robert Half Senior Director of Operations in Allentown, Pennsylvania


Position Summary: We are looking for a proven and experienced Senior Director of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our company. In this role, you will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.


  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

  • Overseeing cross-functional operational processes, ensuring communication, change management, and compliance across teams.

  • Analyze the performance of various departments within the company and plan a strategy to optimize performance and productivity.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.

  • Build an efficient team that contributes to the overall success of the company.

  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative staff for operational support and strategic planning.

  • Ensure company processes align with current business strategy and projected growth.

  • Direct strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timelines for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all operational services.

  • Assist the human resources department in recruiting skilled personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space.

  • Undertake budgeting and forecasting for various company operations.

  • Lead operational meetings and teleconferences.

The Senior Director of Operations must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and enhance the operations of our company to drive extensive and sustainable growth.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in operations management role in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding communication and people skills.

  • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other management software.

  • Able to make business projections three years into the future.

  • Demonstrate expertise in strategic planning and business development.
