Description
We are in search of a diligent Accounts Receivable Specialist to be part of our team. This role is based in Alpharetta, Georgia. We offer a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with handling customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer records, and responding to customer inquiries. Moreover, you will supervise customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credits
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Apply payments accurately and efficiently
• Reconcile accounts to resolve any misplaced cash
• Process credit memos and refunds as necessary
• Analyze the aging report to determine outstanding debts
• Assist with billing and B2B collections when required
• Use your skills in Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable (AR), B2B collections, and Billing to effectively perform your duties.
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with B2B collections and Billing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
