Job Title: Associate Attorney – Family Law Practice
Location: North Atlanta
Work Setting: Hybrid after training
Compensation: $85-110k+B - DOE

Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join this dynamic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with experience in other legal fields to transition into family law. The ideal candidate will not only have a passion for law but also possess a compassionate and kind demeanor, understanding the sensitive nature of family law issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence cases.
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court proceedings.
Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and develop case strategies.
Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout their legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive and cohesive case management.
Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
Demonstrated ability to practice law in the state of Georgia.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and kind demeanor.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous experience in family law is not required; the firm is willing to train the right candidate.
