The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of claims processing/low-touch claim handling experience. This is an excellent foot in the door for anyone who is open to a hybrid working schedule. Receive new losses and verify the accuracy of information via coverage

Perform all file updates on the system as directed by claim reps

Register loss payments on the system - We use Claim Vision to manage our claims.

Provide customer service to agents-insured clients and other customers

Process authorized payments

Input data entry correspondence into system diaries information for claims reps and/or team leader and prepares form letters

Typing photocopying indexing and filing

Ability to accurately calculate wages etc. and create professional letters and correspondence

Make calls to insureds requesting missing information on the claim files

Direct care when appropriate

Requirements

Strong customer service background

Ability to operate and contribute positively in a team-based environment

Professional written and oral communication skills including effective telephone skills

Ability to work independently under limited supervision

Professional organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by the ability to self-manage organize and prioritize work

Strong working knowledge of computer systems and various Microsoft applications such as Word and Outlook - We will provide templates needed to complete letters etc to claimants and insured. Training will be provided if needed. The ability to communicate effectively and professionally via the phone or letters is imperative.
