Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled Contract Financial Controller to oversee our client's financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting while providing strategic insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Implement and manage ERP systems for effective financial data management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.

  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with tax regulations.

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.

  • Prepare presentations for executive leadership on financial performance and projections.

  • Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally in a contract capacity.

  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
