Description
Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled Contract Financial Controller to oversee our client's financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting while providing strategic insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Implement and manage ERP systems for effective financial data management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with tax regulations.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
Prepare presentations for executive leadership on financial performance and projections.
Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally in a contract capacity.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
