Field Training Manager
Robert Half is seeking a Field Training Manager to be responsible for planning and execution of field training for assigned programs and/or geographies. The FTM is a part of the centralized Staff Development team and works with Senior Field Leadership to deliver successful programs for Robert Half, to include Instructor Led Training classes, branch workshops, and virtual training via phone/Skype. This person will collaborate with senior management to determine field training needs, executing pre-work, identifying and organizing field co-facilitators, managing calendar of events and attending all sessions for assigned programs and/or geographies. The FTM will also measure ROI post session via surveys and post-session follow up, tracking assigned employees’ progress through the RH Learning Management System (LMS). This person will work closely with Senior Field Leadership to ensure that executed training programs stay in alignment with business objectives and reflect Robert Half’s long-term strategic goals.
Specific responsibilities include:
Facilitates assigned curriculum to staffing field audiences in varying geographical locations.
Collaborates with Senior Field Leadership on training program progress and priorities.
Works with field managers to refine delivery of sessions, including training co-facilitators in advance of courses.
Assists in determining staff learning needs for the programs/geography assigned, including and tracking progress through programs via LMS and other methods.
Coordinates session logistics with Staff Development Program Enrollment team and manages event calendar for assigned programs/geographies.
Communicates course material recommendations to Staff Development Curriculum Manager and manages content changes with facilitation team.
BA/BS or Master’s Degree.
Certificate or 4-year Degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, and/or Communications.
Field staffing experience required.
Experience with both Recruiting and Marketing a plus.
Experience with both Temp and Perm a plus.
Management experience a plus.
Experience with facilitating training programs a plus.
Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles; superior facilitation skills; Strong knowledge of written English with excellent verbal communication skills.
Experience with online, web-based, ILT, audio/video, and LMS mediums; sales and learning technology platforms, social learning pedagogy, experiential and scenario-based learning environments.
Behavioral change expertise and knowledge transfer process.
Project management skills.
Ability to collaborate with all ranges of personnel, including senior field and department management.
Works well with other teams and all levels in an organization.
Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology is very important.
Ability to travel at least two weeks per month required.
