Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk specialist to partner with one of our clients in the greater Amherst, Massachusetts area on an ongoing temporary basis. The Help Desk specialist will be responsible for the following: ? Providing first level IT support to end users primarily via telephone, email, or occasionally in-person ? Courteous demeanor required in all service desk interactions ? Acting as first line of support for internal organization end-users ? Experience supporting end-users in account issues, network connectivity, mobile devices, PC and laptop issues, application troubleshooting ? Familiarity and firm understanding of how to input and track trouble tickets in a ticketing system

Requirements: ? 2 years of IT Support experience with at least 6 months in a technical call center environment or mix of technical education and work experience. ? 6+ months of experience working in a technical call center environment ? Technical ability to troubleshoot Mac or Windows 7, 10 ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Experience working in IT in an educational setting (primary, secondary, or higher ed) a plus All candidates required to undergo drug and background screenings.
