Description
Are you an Accounting Specialist looking to join a well-respected organization? Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Specialist to support a department. The Accounting Specialist position will require matching invoices to purchase orders/vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Key Responsibilities - Assist Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with the collection of past due balance - Work with Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices, and disbursement filing - Remedy discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required - Organize documents that require knowledge in determining the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes - Produce statements and reports that require the utilization of a variety of sources - Upload financial information to journals and ledgers - Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects.
