Description
We are seeking a skilled hands-on IT manager who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our computer systems within established requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. As the IT manager, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess enhanced skills, a proven professional track record, and extensive knowledge of industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee
information technology and computer systems, ensuring compliance with NIST
(National Institute of Standards and Technology) guidelines.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and upgrade systems and technology to meet future requirements, including those outlined by CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification).
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Align user needs with system functionality and contribute to the development of organizational policies.
• Identify and address problematic areas, implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct system audits and assess their outcomes.
• Safeguard company assets, information security, and control structures.
Requirements:
• Proven work
experience as an IT manager or relevant role.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
• Expertise in data center management and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Familiarity with NIST compliance and knowledge of CMMC requirements.
• Experience as an ISSM (Information Systems Security Manager) and possessing an active security clearance would be a plus.
• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating project status.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a similar field.
