Description

Jenny Bour with Robert Half is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing team with a company in the northtowns. The successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will support recruitment and retention efforts, manage new hire orientations, and participate in recruitment activities. This Talent Acquisition Specialist role also entails high-volume recruitment, onboarding, and new hire paperwork processing. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Recruitment manager to develop and implement strategies for acquiring new talent.

  • Use diverse and creative methods to source qualified candidates.

  • Conduct a comprehensive candidate screening process including resume screening, phone interviews, and in-person interviews.

  • Represent the organization at various job fairs and hiring events.

  • Conduct and process background checks and reference checks on applicable employees.

  • Prepare and execute on-boarding paperwork and conduct orientations for new hires.

  • Implement basic training on company policies and procedures for new employees.

  • Assist in managing temporary employees’ assignments and schedules.

  • Participate in HR-related training and development programs.

  • Help to improve our HR hiring and onboarding practices.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition

  • Experience in conducting Background Checks and employee onboarding

  • Solid understanding and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

  • Experience with various Human Resources software and Human Resources Management Systems

  • Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
