You're a good fit for this Accounting Clerk position with a well-known, successful Service organization if you can take responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Your responsibilities in this role
Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Support accounts payable by filing vendor invoice and disbursements and by matching & filing A/P invoices
Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable
Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes
Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources
Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects
Post financial information to journals and ledgers Requirements - Excellent data entry skills
SAP experience
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
