Description We are based in Anahiem, California, and are on the lookout for a Network Administrator to join our team. The role entails supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the corporation's various networks. This role will be instrumental in ensuring optimal network performance and security across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Consult with users to establish network specifications, taking into account workflow, access, information, and security requirements.

• Evaluate network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; and implement strategies for improvement.

• Oversee the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment.

• Develop and maintain network policies and procedures.

• Ensure all network hardware/firmware is up-to-date.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the highest network performance is achieved and any network changes that may affect critical systems are analyzed and tested.

• Maintain network security at the highest level possible and monitor the network for any possible security vulnerabilities and attacks.

• Advocate for the adoption of new technologies and products by attending networking conferences and training sessions.

• Ensure all software and hardware are maintained and any obsolete ones are upgraded/replaced.

• Carry out other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills

• Proficiency in Cisco and/or Extreme Networks hardware: datacenter/edge switches, routers, WLAN controllers, WAPs, Azure Virtual Networking fundamentals and concepts, Extreme Software: XIQ management suite, Firewall concepts and management (FortiGate), WAN configuration and management, Remote access technologies (VPN/IPSEC), Multicast networking/IGMP.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft solutions including but not limited to Active Directory 2016 and above, Windows Server 2016 – 2022, DHCP/DNS/WINS, and DFS.

• Secondary knowledge in the following areas: SAN networking –Fibre Channel, iSCSI, HP server and storage hardware – HP Proliant DL series, 3PAR SAN, Nimble SAN, MSA, Virtualization technologies: VMware, ProxMox, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 products, and cloud services. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator.

• Proficiency in working with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies.

• Knowledge and experience in Citrix Technologies is required.

• Must have experience in Database management and Dell Technologies.

• Familiarity with Active Directory and Backup Technologies is necessary.

• Should have an understanding of Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments.

• Experience in IP Routing, IP Routing Protocols, Routing Protocol, and Network Routing is essential.

• Must have skills in LAN Switching, Layer 3 Switches, Router Switches.

• Experience in Switch Configuration and Switch Routers will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of Extreme Network and Extreme Programming is expected.
