Description

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Anderson, South Carolina. The role demands a keen understanding of Commercial Construction Project Management principles and the ability to work in a dynamic telecom provider setting. The position requires an individual adept in coordinating with various teams and stakeholders and is responsible for defining and developing project management methods and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to define and develop project management methods and procedures.

• Create the project scope of work in conjunction with the technical and relationship sales team.

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to achieve quality, financial, and schedule targets.

• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required for the project.

• Develop a RACI Matrix to ensure functional groups understand roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project.

• Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure understanding and communication of the schedule, budget, and scope.

• Evaluate alternative delivery methods to ensure project success.

• Escalate and resolve any issues that could impede the success of the project in a timely manner.

• Monitor team schedules and coordinate activities on the critical path.

• Establish a culture of Safety for each project and host periodic safety meetings.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience or more as a Project Manager in the Construction Industry

Experience working on very large commercial new construction or remodeling projects for commercial or manufacturing.

• Proficient in sales and creating detailed reports

• Familiarity with various procedures and budget processes

• Strong understanding of quality control principles

• Background in project management

• Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations

• Knowledge in logistics and production processes

• Capable of performing ad hoc financial tasks

• Engineering skills are a plus

• Experience in stakeholder management

• Understanding of various methods and practices in construction

• Proficiency in using monitoring tools

• Knowledge in conductivity and creating charts and graphs

• Awareness of best practices in the industry

• Experience in KPI reporting

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deliverables and targets

• Familiarity with discrimination laws and avoiding discriminatory language in the workplace.5 yea
