Description Exciting opportunity alert! Small manufacturing company in Ann Arbor, MI is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Accounting Manager. This position is long term and pay is up to $26/hr. Please apply ONLY if you meet qualifications.

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities

• Make collection calls.

• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.

• Enter accounts payable invoices into ERP system.

• Prepare weekly check runs.

• Prepare bank deposits.

• Reconcile expense reports.

• Enter cash receipts.

• Support HR with payroll duties

• Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Experience

• Highly organized

• Able to work independently with little or no supervision

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Hands on experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems

• Data entry experience or aptitude

• 3 – 5 Years experience Requirements Enter Invoices, Code Invoices, Customer Invoices, Expense Reports, Collections - Commercial, Microsoft Excel
