Description An experienced Project Manager/ Sr. Consultant is needed for this position. This Senior Project Manager position with Robert Half will join an existing team to work onsite with a local client in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. This position is responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. You'll be required to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. Major responsibilities

  • Sets out the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Creates project with correct ticket workflows and boards

  • Supervises project planning

  • Gives a hand to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Lead the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Ensures that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

  • Serves as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively

  • Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel

  • Manages deployment scheduling in coordination with Product Owner, tech lead and Dev Ops

  • Be of help to classify, manage, identify risk for functional improvement requests

  • Cooperates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

  • Colludes and communicates with stakeholders, developers, technical team members and designers

  • Supports the daily stand-ups, guaranteeing their are focused, brief, and timely

  • Shall cooperate closely with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

  • Develops and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Sets schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

  • Works in partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Schedules and runs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and tracks ticket assignments

  • Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

  • Provides detailed reporting to management on project status, risk assessments, and milestone completion Requirements - Strong problem solving and analytical skills

    • You might be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

    • You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
  • Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

  • Solid understanding of project management

  • Command of business analysis

  • Proficiency in Grant Management

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

  • Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

    • It is preferred for applicants to have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools
  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

    • Flexible and focused

    • The person in this position should be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
