Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in ANN ARBOR, Michigan, and are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. The role involves supporting financial planning and analysis, reviewing global and regional financial results, and developing reporting tools for better business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly financial results

• Leading global and North America region financial planning and forecast processes

• Utilizing financial reporting and analysis tools such as Oracle and Oracle BI to develop meaningful financial reports

• Leading the deployment of the Oracle BI system across multiple business areas to improve and standardize reporting

• Partnering with regions to standardize financial analysis, thereby improving our ability to compare results across regions

• Analyzing trends, quantifying potential risks and opportunities to global and regional operating performance

• Reviewing and analyzing capital spending requests and monitoring the progress of capital spending against the original plan

• Providing financial analysis as needed to support management in decision-making processes

• Using skills in Oracle, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Income Statements, Financial Reporting, Consolidated Financial Statements, and Oracle BI to enhance performance and productivity. Requirements • Proficient in Oracle and Oracle BI systems related to finance and accounting

• Skilled in balance sheet reconciliation and income statement analysis

• Experience with financial reporting and consolidated financial statements

• Extensive knowledge in manufacturing industry financial operations

• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the organization

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and provide recommendations

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required

• Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA would be advantageous.
