Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the construction/contractor industry, based in Annandale, Minnesota, 55302, United States. The role primarily involves managing and processing invoices in a high volume environment, maintaining accurate financial records, and addressing customer queries promptly and in a detail oriented manner.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and manage the processing of invoices, including matching, batching, and coding in a high volume setting.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage financial data effectively.
• Ensure the accuracy and organization of all financial records, particularly those related to accounts payable.
• Engage in data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is accurately recorded and updated.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts payable, providing clear, timely, and detail oriented responses.
• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize your accounts payable knowledge to maintain and improve financial processes within the department.
• Perform batch processing tasks to manage large volumes of financial data efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position within the construction/contractor industry.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP), including the ability to handle all related tasks such as invoice processing and vendor management.
• Strong data entry skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all transactions.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, perform calculations, and generate reports.
• Experience in batch processing, including the ability to manage large volumes of transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
