Description
Robert Half is hiring for a Accounts Payable Manager for a growing company in Annapolis, Maryland. The selected candidate will be responsible for general accounting duties and guide the Accounts Payable Team's daily operations. This role will require close collaboration with various teams within the accounting and financial department.
Responsibilities:
• Guide and develop the Accounts Payable Team, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, with a focus on maintaining strong relationships with top internal accounts.
• Implement and document streamlined processes for the Accounts Payable Team to ensure efficient operations.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable team's activities, assisting in reconciling these activities with the general ledger.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to finalize month-end and year-end financials.
• Hands on processing of accounts payable as needed.
• Analyze information to identify opportunities for improvement and drive the implementation of these improvements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports to provide accurate and timely financial insights.
• Perform general accounting duties as assigned, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficient in Vendor Management and ability to establish strong vendor relationships.
• Prior experience with NetSuite highly preferred
• Solid management skills with the ability to lead and oversee a team.
