Robert Half Accounting II & Administrative Clerk in Anza, California

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Anza, California. This role focuses on managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The selected candidate will be heavily involved in accounts receivable functions, including running billing programs and processing all cash receivables, and will also support accounts payable duties.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and disputes in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments

• Run billing programs and check meter readings to ensure accurate billing for customers

• Process all accounts receivable and cash receivables

• Support accounts payable functions as needed

• Maintain strong knowledge and application of GAAP accounting principles

• Perform general ledger and journal entries tasks

• Handle account reconciliation, charge backs, and credit memos

• Manage grant reconciliation processes.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounts receivable (AR) processes

• Experience with journal entries and general ledger management

• Familiarity with billing processes and account reconciliation

• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in making Journal Entries

• Familiarity with the General Ledger

• Experience in Billing procedures

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
