Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Apex, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Order Entry Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders via phone, email, or online platforms.

  • Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and availability before submission.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding orders, product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Shipping, and Inventory Management to ensure timely order fulfillment.

  • Resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.

  • Maintain customer records and order history in the company database or CRM system.

  • Provide updates on order status, tracking information, and any potential delays.

  • Assist in processing returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed.

  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of service and accuracy.

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

1-3 years of experience in customer service, order processing, or data entry.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM/order management systems.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce environment is a plus.
