Our great south metro client is seeking a Claims Specialist to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role, combining remote and onsite work.

Job responsibilities include:

• Handling assigned warranty claims from various external parties.

• Reviewing claim files for accuracy and validity based on warranty policies and state regulations.

• Conducting thorough investigations to determine the extent of liability and damages related to each claim.

• Providing quality customer service and effectively communicating the process, status and expected outcomes to all involved parties.

• Establishing and maintaining proper claim file reserves, and ensuring superior file quality.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in property damage, general liability, or warranty claims is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in phone based work.

• Willingness to learn about our products.

• Detail-oriented approach towards work.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proven ability to perform data entry with high accuracy

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
