The Manager of IT, Store Technology will lead the store technology team to create and maintain a stable, secure systems and application ecosystem across the enterprise while remaining within budget, timeline and project scope.
The candidate must be able to preform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Manages team schedules to ensure that key services are supported during business hours.
Creates and executes operating and capital budgets. Including budgeting, forecasting and reporting results.
Creates IT strategic plans and roadmaps, resulting in the execution of the overall business plan.
Assists in the writing of procedures for new functions and reviews existing policies, procedures, forms and standard documentation for necessary updates.
Manage key projects within the IT Department by developing regular project plans to meet project objectives and milestones. Maintain project progress reports and provide status to key management stakeholders and project teams on a regular basis.
Serves as the escalation point for staff to resolve internal and external opportunities.
Ensures the proper receipt and payment of IT equipment through strong inventory controls.
Follows effective change control processes to ensure minimum downtime and unplanned interruption of key services, evaluating change control processes for improvement opportunities.
Conducts post mortem outage analysis to identify root cause analysis and pro-actively makes changes to lessen future risk.
Ensures that the department’s needs are met concerning employment, recruiting, counseling, coaching, performance evaluations and expectations, timecards, scheduling, training, motivation and staff meetings.
Facilitates and leads regular staff meetings to review work completed, work pending, upcoming changes, and opportunities for improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business is required. A lesser degree with equivalent education, experience and training may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
4+ years direct supervision and 7+ years of technical experience required.
Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively communicate cross-organizationally and work well in a team, fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated, well-organized, self-starter desiring an opportunity to grow both technically and professionally.
This position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and possess good problem-solving skills
