Major responsibilities
Build and run custom reports
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices
Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets
Compile a system of administering and distributing reports
Requirements
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Payroll software experience recommended
Highly organized and self-motivated
General familiarity with payroll for over 500 employees
Knowledge of Workday Payroll
Background working with Terminations
Adeptness in bi-Monthly Payroll
Practical knowledge of Multistate Payroll
Multi-state payroll experience preferred
Local Payroll Tax experience highly preferred
Union payroll experience highly desired
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Proven ability to quickly learn new systems
3+ years of previous payroll experience
