Description

We are in search of a Hardware Analyst to be part of our team in the construction industry, located in Arlington, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves the management of IT equipment, from receiving shipments to ensuring accuracy in shipping and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt of all shipments ordered by the IT Procurement Group

• Evaluate incoming shipments for damage and record any shortages, liaise with shippers as necessary to address these issues

• Distribute received items to the appropriate departments within the organization

• Manage the setup of equipment and oversee the shipping of equipment orders from the corporate office to various divisions across the country

• Schedule orders and ensure the packaging of equipment is accurate and secure

• Oversee both Shipping and Receiving functions, ensuring all duties and documentation are accurate

• Handle the responsibility for the accuracy of inbound and outbound freight

• Utilize skills in Computer Hardware, Equipment Shipping, Shipping & Receiving, Unpackaging, and assessing Physical Damage.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware, able to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively.

• Experience in Equipment Shipping, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of hardware components.

• Familiarity with Shipping & Receiving procedures, able to manage inbound and outbound hardware shipments.

• Skills in Unpackaging, ensuring safe and efficient unpacking of shipped hardware components.

• Ability to assess Physical Damage to hardware, providing accurate reports on damage and possible solutions.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
