We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the construction/contractor industry. The selected candidate will be based in Arlington, Texas, and will primarily focus on supporting all HRIS applications by performing system maintenance, production support, and project/process improvements. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Support HRIS applications by performing system maintenance, production support, and project/process improvements.

• Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas.

• Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.

• Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades, enhancements, and/or fixes.

• Manage projects and process improvement, including identifying trends, design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Partner with various HR functions to identify new enhancements, updates, or maintenance opportunities.

• Translate business objectives and needs into clearly written functional-technical requirements.

• Develop and maintain a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.

• Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

• Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, and provide training to users on new processes/functionality.

• Provide support for the creation and update of user security roles and permission lists.

• Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support.

Please note that the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of HR processes and data, including benefit eligibility and enrollment rules, and payroll procedures. A background in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.

Requirements • Applicant must have a strong understanding of business systems.

• Prior experience with PeopleSoft HRIS is necessary.

• A solid background in the construction/contractor industry is required.

• The ability to analyze and interpret complex business requirements and processes is essential.

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is required.

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques is a plus.

• Experience with data modeling and design techniques is beneficial.

• Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required.

• Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
