Robert Half Programmer Analyst in Arlington, Texas

Description We are looking for a Programmer Analyst situated in Arlington, Texas. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be in charge of designing and developing software solutions primarily in the Microsoft Technology Stack, incorporating languages such as C#, SQL or other .NET programming languages. This role also involves executing the full software development life cycle (SDLC), writing well-designed and testable code, and troubleshooting and upgrading existing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Write well-designed, testable code

• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility

• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

• Document and maintain software functionality

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems

• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

• Comply with project plans and industry standards

• Ensure software is updated with latest features Requirements • Must have proficiency in .NET.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL is required.

• Knowledge of SQL Stored Procedures is necessary.

• Familiarity with NHibernate is a must.

• Should possess strong analytical skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities are required.

• Must have good communication skills.

• Teamwork and collaboration skills are necessary.

• Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Must have a strong understanding of programming languages.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred.

• Must adhere to detail oriented standards and maintain confidentiality.

• The ability to learn new technologies quickly is required.

• A strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices is necessary.

• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.

• Must have a strong understanding of the software development cycle.

• Should have the ability to work under pressure and in high-stress situations.

• Must have excellent time management skills.

• Should have the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
