Description

We are offering a unique opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in the healthcare industry. Located in Arlington, Virginia, this role is pivotal in conducting investigations, interpreting laws, applying facts, and drafting legally sufficient decisions. Responsibilities:

• Investigate Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) cases thoroughly and objectively

• Interpret laws and regulations related to EEO cases

• Apply facts to laws and regulations in EEO cases

• Draft legally sufficient decisions based on investigations

• Use Case Management Software and Legal software, such as LexisNexis, to manage and document cases

• Administer and handle complaints with professionalism and confidentiality

• Use 3M Management System for efficient case management

• Prepare and present briefings on case findings

• Handle claims and complaint administration in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations to avoid employment discrimination.

Requirements • Possess knowledge and experience with 3M, Case Management Software, Legal software, LexisNexis, and Management System

• Able to efficiently perform Briefing, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Documentation tasks

• Familiarity with Discrimination - EEOC and Employment Discrimination law and policies

• Must have a background in the healthcare/NHS industry

• Previous experience as an Attorney/Lawyer is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines relevant to the law profession

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Comprehensive understanding of legal terminology and principles

• Proven ability to negotiate and provide expert legal advice

• Must have a professional law degree from an accredited university

• Must be licensed to practice law.
