Description

Make an impact as a Contracts Manager in this fulfilling full-time position offered through Robert Half Legal for a company in the Manufacturing industry. As the Contracts Manager you will work to maintain vendor subcontracts and agreements, along with managing and re-negotiating contracts. An added responsibility of the Contracts Manager role is to draft contracts and manage other projects. This Contracts Manager role will be located in the Arlington, Virginia area and will be a full-time position. Apply as soon as possible!

Your responsibilities

  • Support and maintain contracts database

  • Handle and outsource contracts

  • Analyze and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

  • Direct the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Reform and manage contract repositories

  • Take care of internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Support and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

  • Prepare contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

Requirements

  • Less than one year of experience is acceptable

  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines

  • Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Bare strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • In charge of reviewing and drafting non-disclosure agreements, such as software evaluation and licensing agreements

  • Skillful in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

    • Solid computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • Able to execute position's requirements in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Cpff

  • GSA Schedule experience

  • DFARS experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Government Contracts
