Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Arlington, Virginia
Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant for a short-term contract role based in Arlington, Virginia. The focus of this role is administrative tasks within the human resources industry. The HR Assistant will be involved in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving inquiries.
Responsibilities
• Ensure efficient processing of applications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Address and resolve inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Monitor accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary
• Conduct I-9 audits to ensure compliance
• Perform background checks as part of the recruitment process
• Manage ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient communication
• Handle auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide excellent service at all times
• Carry out benefit functions as part of the HR role
• Utilize HRMS and Ceridian systems effectively
• Use the 'About Time' tool for efficient task management. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary.
• Ability to use Ceridian software is a key requirement.
• Expertise in HRMS is mandatory.
• Knowledge of About Time software is desired.
• Auditing skills are crucial for this role.
• Experience in conducting Background Checks is necessary.
• Capability to handle Benefit Functions is imperative.
• Strong Customer Service skills are a must.
• Experience in I-9 Audits is required.
• Knowledge of I-9 Compliance is essential.
