Description
Are you looking to leverage your Linux and Kubernetes knowledge and ready to take on a new challenge? Do you have an active TS/SCI Clearance? If so, we are looking for someone like you to join a dynamic team! Working closely with a development team, this role is pivotal to infrastructure and platform services. You will be responsible for configuring, administering, and optimizing Linux RedHat, orchestrating with Kubernetes, while ensuring robust security measures, and enhancing overall platform performance. This position is full time, with full benefits and 100% onsite in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using Linux-based systems.
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and management.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and uptime.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proficiency in Linux administration.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Expertise in Kubernetes for deployment and management.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code repositories.
Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible or Puppet, or Chef
5+ years in Linux administration. Our client uses RedHat, but open to other flavors.
