Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Help Desk Analyst at our ARMONK, New York, 10504-1711, United States location. The role is within the Information Technology Support (ITS) sector and involves dealing with desktop technical issues related to Microsoft’s core business applications, operating systems for PC (Windows 7+), MAC (OS X) and peripherals.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical break/fix support for all ITS systems currently deployed in production.
• Interface with business users and other ITS team members to analyze, update and resolve cases.
• Administer, maintain and provide second level support of back-end global ITS systems.
• Utilize key skills such as NCR, Nortel, PBX - PABX, and PC Desktop - Workstation to optimize performance.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements
• Proven experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role
• Proficient in NCR technology and hardware
• Familiarity with Nortel communication systems
• Solid understanding of PC Desktop and Workstation technology
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Willingness to keep up with advancements in the field of IT support
• Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
