Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable specialist in Atlanta, Georgia. The role involves managing and organizing financial transactions in the manufacturing industry. The individual will be expected to maintain accurate customer records, process credit card transactions, and handle high volumes of invoices on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage the Accounts Payable inbox to ensure all incoming invoices are addressed in a prompt manner.
• Accurately record financial transactions through high-level coding tasks.
• Ensure correct and precise data entry of customer and transaction details into our Netsuite system.
• Handle and process credit card transactions, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.
• Timely process and pay a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis.
• Use skills in Accounts Payable and Account Coding to maintain and enhance our financial processes.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management
• Strong data entry skills
• Familiarity with account coding
• Experience with NetSuite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
