Job Overview:
Our client, a respected and growing law firm specializing in insurance defense, is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, client-focused environment, where you’ll play a key role in defending and advising clients across a variety of complex workers’ compensation cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all phases of workers’ compensation defense, from case analysis to settlement negotiation and litigation.
Conduct depositions, draft pleadings and motions, and engage in discovery processes.
Provide sound legal advice to clients and insurers on case strategy, defense, and potential outcomes.
Develop litigation strategies that align with clients' needs and goals.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality case management and client service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active GA bar membership
Minimum of 1+ experience in workers’ compensation defense, preferably within an insurance defense firm or related environment.
Proven track record of effective case management and successful litigation outcomes.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a client-oriented approach.
