Robert Half Billing Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are seeking a Billing Analyst to join our team. This role involves providing vital support in the accounting department, managing billing processes, and assisting with project management tasks. The position is primarily remote and based in Atlanta, Georgia, 30324, United States, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Must live in Georgia, Alabama, or Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate internal communications and provide general project management support.

• Oversee the invoicing of clients, ensuring accurate accumulation of costs for invoicing.

• Interface with vendors and subcontractors, addressing issues related to billings and payment requisitions.

• Conduct data analysis and project management reporting, constantly familiarizing with financial details and status of projects.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly billing schedules for distribution to project managers and department heads.

• Manage project payables and timesheet postings.

• Assist in managing accounts receivable and collections, maintaining good relationships with client counterparts.

• Participate in project set up and close out in line with contract specifications.

• Manage contract administration and handle sub-consultant invoices for billing to project managers for approval.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing analyst role or a related position

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity or prior experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Strong understanding and experience in handling Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in executing Billing Functions

• Expertise in Financial Analysis and Data Analysis

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on financial data.
